Discover Lighthouse Point Beach - Guided Tour
Get off the beaten path and discover Eleuthera's true beauty. This land based tour takes you to our famous "5 star" pink sand beach, Lighthouse Beach. Snorkel the crystal clear waters and discover the pristine reefs right off the shore. Climb the cliffs to view the old Lighthouse and light keeper's kitchen. Take in the incredible elevated views of the reefs below and Little San Salvador to the south. Come Explore Cape Eleuthera Island School & Institute Tour
CEI's mission is to promote the conservation of the tropical marine and coastal ecosystems of Eleuthera, The Bahamas, and the greater Caribbean by facilitating the research of resident and visiting scientists and supporting the education of students at all levels. Come tour our campus facilities, powered by 75% renewable energy (wind solar hybrid system). You'll walk around with the systems expert and learn how rainwater is collected in cisterns, how waste is processed in the gardens, and marvel at buildings made from local materials. You'll also have the opportunity to tour many of our research programs with campus scientists, such as Shark Research, Lionfish Research, Aquaculture, Aquaponics and Tropical Flats, as well as Bonefish and Climate Change Research.
CEI hosts tours on a daily basis at 11:00am and 1:00pm.
The Cape Eleuthera Foundation is a U.S. registered 501 (c) (3) and all donations are tax-deductable.
